System Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or later. Version 1.8 is not tested under Vista or Windows 7, but it should work. However, it does not work under 64-bit systems.
  • Compatible SDI and/or HDMI card(s) (not required for output to a computer screen via the Fullscreen Consumer or the GDI Consumer.)

Server Download

The current release of CasparCG can be downloaded at the CasparCG Download page.

Flash Player

We recommend using the latest version of Flash Player, which can be found at the Adobe Flash Player download page.

Make sure you install the "Flash Player" with Internet Explorer, as we've had some reports of CasparCG Server not being able to play Flash content correctly if you install it via Firefox.

Content

Place all your media (videos, Flash templates and bitmap images) in the correct folders.
