Hello! Sorry about the delay, but I've been preoccupied with other projects.
Is there any config file that establishes the size of the GDI window? (seems to be PAL aspect to begin with.)In this beta version the GDI-consumer is locked to 576p2500 (PAL size but with 25 frames instead of 50 fields / sec).
In the version with bluefish support you select videomode by supplying a commandline parameter.
ex 1. caspar.exe videomode=720p5000
ex 2. caspar.exe videomode=NTSC
The GDI-producer however is stil locked to 576p2500. In the final version the GDI-consumer will use the videomode supplied in the commandline parameter just like the bluefish-consumer.
Are there certain types of Targa files that the system won't play? (I have some that won't work. They're up for a few days at http://jcbd.com/clients/casparCGhatesthese.zip)It appears that the part that cropped or padded images to the selected videomode have been left out of this version, which means that images that's not excactly the same format as the videomode gets rejected. For you that means that your images will have to be 720x576 for CasparCG to display them.
Are you authoring animation clips with alpha as premultiplied or straight alpha for Bluefish cards in your setup? If you plan to use both video playout and template graphics I have to recomend that you render your video premultiplied, since the template graphics engine (read flash) only supports premultiplied as of yet.
Is there any documentation yet available on what commands you send on port 5250 to control the server?Yes, but only in swedish unfortunately. I have to bump the priority on the translation of the different documentations...
